Aft Cabins on the Reflection

Are aft cabins on the Reflection larger than other standard cabins on the same deck? Are the verandas on the aft cabins larger than the verandas on the standard cabins? Are the aft cabins more expensive than the standard veranda cabins? Finally, does smoking from the Sunset Bar filter down to the aft verandas?

Thanks for you input.

These aft facing cabins do have larger balconies ... up somewhat only half covered. The view is outstanding. We've been on one on deck 9 in the past and no smell of smoke at all. I am pretty sure it doesn't waft down as much as waft back ... so think you are pretty safe there.

Yes, these cabins are more expensive for the most part. You might find a deal but they are mainly C1's and SV (concierge and sunset veranda) cabins.

Also, there are no aft stairwells so you do have to walk to the midship stairs and elevators to get to any other deck. I don't mind it at all, some do, though.

Just of note, we kind of liked the very aft cabins on either side of the ship .... not aft facing. The balconies are larger but of course, you won't have a view of the wake. But, these are categorized as 2C cabins so much less expensive than the aft facing cabins in general.

Cabins are the same size.

There are some quite a bit wider.

Are the aft cabins more expensive than the standard veranda cabins?

Yes, they are either SV or C1. However, the difference in price between a 1A and an aft cabin varies significantly. You can sometimes snag an SV or C1 for a small bump in price.

Finally, does smoking from the Sunset Bar filter down to the aft verandas?

Not in my experience.

We've booked nothing but aft cabins for the past couple of years and have another booked for March. Some people don't like the fact that you can be seen by people on higher decks peering down, but that doesn't bother us any more than people being able to see us when we lie around the pool.
