Sending postcards

Be in St. John's in a couple weeks and want to send my friend a postcard but not sure how easy it is to find a post office near the pier. Anyone ever do this? If so was it a big hassle?

The post office us quite a walk, best do what most do, and use the facility of the ship's Guest Services.

Didn't know they offered such service on cruise ships but I'm a newbie cruiser. Probably just do that and save the hassle

Thanks

And the ship puts a rubber stamp with it's name on the card, noting it was sent from the ship.
