Will Carnival do anything special for anniversaries?

We got a special dessert in the steakhouse, a little cake in the MDR and a $50 gift card for the spa.

The first cruise we took together we got a special dessert and our wait staff sang to us in the MDR. Our most recent one we got a free picture. Doesn't seem like any consistency on the freebies. You can always plan special things yourself.

We were celebrating our anniversary in December (anniversary was in September) but we changed the cruise to later in the year (sick DH) so the Carnival rep asked when we changed, what day do we want to celebrate on the cruise, and we said formal night (elegant night, I know, I know) but we were anytime dining sharing a table, with-

one birthday girl

one anniversary couple

one newlywed couple

and

the staff remembered everyone but us.

that's ok,

but our Steward- God De (pronounce Good day) remembered and gave us a spa card with a value of 50.00. Which was only good til the end of the cruise, and we never got to the spa. We never have been to the spa.

 

oh well, yes let them know you are celebrating, and something nice will happen.
