Was hoping to find some fruit at market in St John's. Be there on Feb 2nd and heard of a market near the port. Anyone have any recommendations? Also want to know if you can get the fruit cut up or do I have to bring my knife?

Has your cruise ship of choice ended the serving fruit?

If this request is to source a particular type of fruit, then one can always ask the MD in your restaurant.

The restaurant MD would be happy to assist with this simple request.

I know that you are going to be in Antigua tomorrow, but just in case you are still browsing the boards I will chime in here. If you get the chance to buy an Antiguan black pineapple don’t pass it up. Sometimes you can find it already peeled and diced. To me they are the best pineapples. They are small and a little pricey but they are very juicy and extremely delicious.  We have found them at the market and on fig tree drive at a little fruit stand.
