Best time for Tagish Kennels on your own

We did your sled dogs with Michelle Phillips a few years ago and had a great time. Last time, we got there right after lunch and after the main cruise tours were done and were the only ones there. Since they moved closer to Skagway, not sure what the best time would be. We could it on the way back which would later in the day? Anyone have any experience?
