Flight from Sanford

It's about a 75+ minute drive from PC to Sanford, compared to just under an hour to MCO.

for a 12:30 flight you need to be at Sanford by about 11:00, which translates into off the ship, with bags and clear of customs/immigration NLT about 9:30. Certainly doable if you book private transfers -- I do not think you have the time to mess around with renting a car one-way. If you carry your bags off and get out early (before 9:00 - preferably closer to 8:30) you could even use a shared shuttle as long as there are not long delays waiting for others.

Good luck! :D

Thanks John. We're doing the same, but with a 1:15 flight. I'm thinking of doing the one-way car rental. Can I ask why you think that's too time consuming? The shuttle services for Sanford seem to be very few and pricey.

Off the ship, wait for the car rental shuttle, rent the car, drive to Sanford, gas up somewhere, turn in the car -- lots to do in a short time and some of the delays are out of your control. You can probably make it as the TSA lines at Sanford are tame compared to MCO. Frequent renter membership with whoever you rent from will speed up the process some.

Your call. Please report back after your cruise and let us know what option you went with and how it all worked out.;)
