Any opinnions on Four Ambassodors Suites hotel? Miami

I have booked a room there for my husband and I and daughter and son in law for the night before our cruise. It is at 801 Bicknell Bay drive. Anyone stay there?

 

Any input good or bad? About how far a taxi ride is it to the pier area?

5 minutes to the port... It's a private condo that rents some apartments out as "hotels rooms", it's quite old and the units vary in quality.

that is bizzare, I made my reservation online at their website and yesterday I called the hotel direct to verify that I had used the right credit card and they certainly are still a hotel. I had to wait while they booked in a large party of guests.

I'm glad to hear it is near the port, guess I will hope the quality of the room is ok.

wow, that is bizarre- I would have preferred to stay there than the place that I am booked into but for one night I hope it is ok-have a great trip
