There may be some in a cage at Cockleshell Beach at Reggae Beach Bar or if you are lucky and they have not closed Shipwreck on South Friars Beach you may see some that are running free come out of the bushes to get some sugar cane that the owner feeds them.

Shipwreck is still open, DW and I were there last week and had a great time. Monkeys there too. Just remember Shipwreck is a beach bar with tables, loungers and a swimming/snorkeling area, so there will be people drinking. They also have a nice tradition of people putting their names on the tables and wood support beams.

My comment about Shipwreck being open is because all of the beach bars to the left of Carambola have been given notice to leave by the end of February 2018. Their leases have been canceled and the owners want them gone so a new development can be built. The parties are negotiating to try to stay until the end of this season. The bigger issue is beach access.

The bigger issue is beach access.

No problem, wait until the hotel finished and if possible pay to use their beach and facilities.

If one has no wish to pay, then do what many like minded people currently do.

Go to Carambola, spread your ship's towel, eat the food and drink gathered from the ship's buffet, bury the debris in the sand, and use Carambola's beach, plus all their facilities for free.
