ashton57 Posted February 7, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2018 l'm sure this will sound like a stupid question to some but this is our first time on a cruise and I'm trying to get an idea how things work. We will probably be staying on deck 2 in a cove balcony cabin just forward of the midship elevators. Do all the elevators on deck 2 go straight up to the lido deck? How long does it normally take to get from deck 2 to the lido deck? are there long waits? Just curious if going up in the morning for coffee to bring back to the room is going to be realistic. Thanks for any and all replies :)
ParrotRob Posted February 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2018 Yes, they go all the way up. It will take you about a minute. If you know what time you're getting up, a better option might be to have room service just deliver you coffee at a specific time. You can have them bring you an entire carafe. cmichael1279 Posted February 7, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 7, 2018 Deck 2 is great to get anywhere on the ship, since it's cabins from front to back. Once you figure out where all of the elevators are, you'll be able to get anywhere quickly! We're in a cove balcony for the third time in May
RWolver672 Posted February 8, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2018 Depending on the location of the elevator bank, there are either four or six elevators in each bank. Just press the up button, then wait to hear the "DING". You'll be up on the Lido deck in less than a minute. The only time the elevators get crowded is before meals. If the first one is full, just hit the button again and get on the next one. Not sure of what the capacity is but they do hold a lot of people.
