I just thought I should post photos from the cabin (Norwegian Jade, #8088, Obstructed Ocean View), even if it was very similar to the cabin that Mking posted photos of. The view was very obstructed, but I upgraded from a regular inside cabin just to gain a little more floor space and not because of the "view" - and it was well worth the upgrade! All though just a few square feet larger, the room felt kind of double the size of a regular inside, just because it was more space between the walls and lots of storage in closets, shelves and drawers. We had a regular inside cabin on the Jade last year, that felt much more "cramped" and small....

PHOTOS FROM CABIN #8088 OBSTRUCTED OCEANVIEW:

I didn't realize that the photos that I posted after staying in  cabin 8088 on the Jade after our cruise in May 2018, not were "available" anymore - so I hereby try to post them again, incl. one photo of the actual obstructed view:

Interesting to see the obstructed view. It's actually more obstructed than I thought, maybe because of the roof and whatever is orange - maybe the wall of the ship. It's so nice of you to post these. Thank you!

The orange is actually a life boat - there are life boats obstructing the view on all cabins of this type on deck 8. So in some of these cabins you may be lucky to have your cabin/window situated just between two life boats - but to us the obstructed view was no problem, we did the upgrade from a regular inside cabin just to get a bigger cabin. 🙂
