SLSD Posted February 20, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2018 i can only imagine what a great loss this has been for the Captain's family and friends--not to mention for Seabourn and the crew of the Quest. I think any of us who have sailed on these great ships have a certain amount of awe for these great seamen.
DC Traveler244 Posted February 21, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2018 I'm saddened to learn of this. We sailed with Captain Larsen to Antarctica a few years ago. It's a sudden and great loss for his family, friends, and crew. Like many SB passengers who'd sailed with Captain Larsen, I was teary-eyed reading about his final departure from the Quest.
