Traveling with Grandchild we have Guardianship Of

We will be traveling with our granddaughter who we have legal guardianship of. We have a copy of her birth certificate and of course the guardianship papers. As she will only be 7 at the time of the trip and clearly has no government issued picture ID, will the birth certificate and guardianship papers be sufficient (assuming we can't bet a passport in time) for the cruise or is there something else we will need? I tried to look at NCL.com and simply could not find anything other than passport or birth certificate and government issued picture id.

I’m not sure a birth certificate is enough...others will chime in..

Actually just went back and looked and noticed:

 

*A U.S. citizen under the age of 16 does not require a government-issued photo ID.

So we should be good with just a birth certificate and guardianship papers for our granddaughter unless others have found otherwise.

I am the legal guardian of my 12 year old granddaughter. We have cruised with her for 6 years with her birth certificate and the court papers. I have never needed anything else other than a copy of the legal document for the cruise line to keep
