scaper Posted February 23, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2018 Do you think FTTF is worth it on the Fascination cruise from San Juan? I ask because the ship leaves at 10:00 pm but then again whay would that matter? Also we have an assigned check in - If using FTTF then that would not matter, correct? hishorselover Posted February 23, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2018 We had FTTF when we cruised on Fascination last year. The only benefit we had from it was that our luggage was in our room before we were. Other than that, we never used it. Honestly...we didn't need our luggage that early either. We had to use guest services a couple of times and never had more than one person in front of us.
pghsteelerfan Posted February 23, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2018 We've sailed out of San Juan twice fairly recently (not Fascination - yet; Valor in 2013 and Liberty 2015) and as hishorselover mentioned, the only real benefit, on this itinerary, would be having your luggage in your cabin before you get there or if you'd need to go to Guest Services for any reason. We did not have FTTF and had no issues boarding. There are also no tender ports on this itinerary, so we've always been able to walk right off the ship. Depending on timing getting back to the ship while in port, there may be lines, but we never experienced anything unbearable. Fascination is a smaller ship than Valor & Liberty, so less passengers. Less passengers = shorter lines. :)
