OBC - Shore excursions

I'm trying to use OBC to make shore excursion reservation; did it for our reservation but for my parents reservation it says: "Payment Not Accepted

My parents will not use the OBC, they normally don't shop things onboard and are not drinkers.Can we make the reservation with CC and then have a refund through OBC?

You can just call and have a rep book it using your obc.

Maybe I will do that, but we are calling from Portugal and the phone calls+waiting time is really expensive.
