Norwegian Fjords end of May

Looking for advice on what clothes to take to the Norwegian Fjords at the end of May. I’m lead to believe the weather can be changeable?

Not sure where you are from but the weather will be similar to the northeastern US. Cool mornings and evenings and warm during the mid-day. Expect some rain.

Take Bob's advice. We did this sailing last year mid-May. I wore a lighweight tutleneck, cardigan and windbreaker and could easily adjust as needed. Expect some rain.

I can recommend the same windbreaker, cardigan and warm clothes. Even in summer it could be cold and change from cold weather to a sunny day

I second this with the addition of windproof as well.

 

Havind said this, I´ve done this cruise a couple times at the same time of year and it was mostly short sleeve shirts weather. But certainly be prepared.

The Fjords are stunning & beautiful....and in May you’ll see lots of amazing waterfalls as the snow and ice begins to melt.
