You may want to do a search on this forum for the 'smell' associated with deck 5. This is the one deck I have recorded to make sure to avoid. Many reports of the sewage smell. One person reported an ocean view cabin with the stench where they couldn't ventilate. Not saying all cabins on deck 5 are plagued by the odor, but there have been multiple posts recommending to stay away from deck 5.
