barb65 Posted March 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Looking to do a Segway tour in Bermuda. Any advice, helpful hints would be appreciated. Thanks!
leekel619 Posted March 11, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2018 We went on the segway tour a few years ago. It was fun. A little scary to me and I had sore legs the next day from my inability to relax. I screamed oddly a couple times and the tour guide made me stay beside him. But I will say we did more stopping for "photo ops" and didn't really go too far. And you have to be careful not to run people over. Now that Dockyard is even more crowded with tourists I don't know if I'd do it again. Your time goes by super fast. We rode up to the Commissioners house. Over to where you leave dockyard. (we parked there for about 15 minutes to take pictures...) Around dockyard. Not the route of the little free train, but similar. Maybe they changed the route but there isn't much to see in Dockyard. Touristy shops and restaurants. We still love it there and return every year on the Boston to Bermuda. Going May 4! Try the segway. Or ask people getting off first...you can wait at the little bus. barb65 Posted March 11, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Is the dockyard the only location they offer a Segway tour or are there other places on the island that offer a more scenic tour?

It’s just the Dockyard and it’s a total waste of time and money- you can walk everywhere. Elsewhere in Bermuda they aren’t practical- distances are too far between things to make them useful. It’s not worth the $ So I see I replied to this in March. I forget what I forgot. [emoji1354]
