mquiz Posted March 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2018 HI There, I'm going on the Wind Spirit in a few weeks with a group of friends and I just realized we need to bring a lot of sunscreen! Does anyone know if it's available on the ship at a reasonable price? Or should we bring with us? The last hotel I stayed at charged $25 a bottle so just want to plan ahead. Thanks so much! Ski Mom 2 Posted March 15, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2018 I do know it is available to purchase on board but I don't know what the price would be.
avalong Posted March 15, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2018 If you plan to snorkel you might want to consider getting a swim jacket that has spf 50 in the fabric. It's very easy to fry your back while snorkeling in the tropics.
Strenz Posted March 15, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 15, 2018 Avalong great idea. I have a long sleeve 50 spf swim shirt, I love it, great upper body sun protection, extremely light weights, dries in minutes, folds up to nothing. I love it because the greasy lotion is not all over my body. Since I bought it, always in my carryon. We have not checked in 25 years this shirt takes up no space. Happy Sailing. Don't leave home without it! Mine zips up the front for easy on/off when wet.
