Guest nemo2005 Posted December 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2005 We arrive on a Saturday for a Monday cruise. We are thinking of spending Sunday at Busch Gardens. Can anyone point us toward discount ticket offers for Busch Gardens? And, I heard their prices go up January 2. We have a rental car since we'll be 2 days pre-cruise to explore. Other ideas for our pre-cruise time with school-aged kids? We're staying near the airport. Thanks!

Rare mahdnc Posted January 1, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 1, 2006 Other ideas for our pre-cruise time with school-aged kids? Thanks! In March our family sailed out of Tampa on Celebrity's Horizon. We spent the morning of our cruise at the Florida Aquarium located at the Channelside pier where your ship will leave. We really enjoyed it and I highly recommend it. It was a very impressive aquarium and compared well to other aquariums we have been to. Check it out!! It is open from 9:30am-5:00pm.
mimikens Posted January 2, 2006 #8 Share Posted January 2, 2006 If you are staying near the airport, you can always hope on 275 to go to St Pete Beach or Clearwater. Other than the Aquarium, there is the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI). It has an Imax theatre within the Museum.
