cleophus12 Posted March 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2018 I know the answer to this question will require a crystal ball, but I'm hoping someone might have some insight. I have read many spring break reviews on the Majesty out of PC and it sounds like a nightmare. I realize these were Bahamas cruises. We will be sailing on her out of Tampa to Cuba in May. Should we expect to be onboard with large numbers of newly graduated high school or college students, or did the price increase for Cuba go up sufficiently to discourage this type of passenger? I was on a high school graduation cruise (150 graduating seniors from a local high school) years ago out of San Juan on the AoS and it was a week of sleepless nights. Don't really want to repeat that experience. What are your thoughts?
cruisegirl1 Posted March 16, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2018 You should expect fewer college/high school students because of the cuba cruise prices and the other charges associated with a Cuba cruise. ( extra $75 pp for a Visa.) In my opinion, it is not the ship that determines the party but the itinerary and time of year. We've sailed many three/four night cruises from Port Canaveral ( Majesty , Monarch, Sovereign, Enchantment) and have rarely had an issue with an unruly crowd A few cruises are louder and more active than others. We've sailed spring break twice with no huge complaints. Need a pool chair in the morning? - no problem, all the kids are sleeping in! Never had sleepless nights. Cabin hallways were quiet. good luck M
