Drink pass on Seapass card

We are first time RC cruisers going on the Liberty of the Seas. We bought 2 drink packages. I heard that the packages are loaded on the seapass cards. How does that work and do we get the cards right away?

There will be some kind of identifier on your sea pass card, either a sticker applied to the card or something printed directly onto it. You will collect your sea pass card when you check in and use it to board the ship. You should be able to use your drink packages as soon as you board. However, you should be aware that the alcohol selection is a bit limited until the ship reaches international waters due to Texas tax laws.

the seapass card is the key to your room and charge card for your account on board. you get it at checkin and can't board without it

 

if you buy a drink package b4 there will be a code on the card indicating this. the delux drink package results in "DX" in the bottom right corner.

 

if you buy after boarding, they put a sticker in the same location

 

if you purchased ahead of time you can use the pac' to get your first drink about 15 steps after crossing the side of the ship!
