Socal404 Posted December 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2005 We will be arriving a day early for our cruise in February. I have a confirmed reservation at the Holiday Inn Express on 17th St. We will be flying in from the west coast. Our flight doesn't get into FLL until about 7:30pm. At my last check the hotel is sold out for that night. Should I call beforehand and let them know of our "late arrival", so they don't give our room away? LoveTheDeepBlue Posted December 28, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 28, 2005 For sure. Call the hotel and ask them how long they hold a room for those persons arriving late. Different hotels have different policys. Make it clear that you want it noted what time you expect to be to the hotel.
Rare Keith1010 Posted December 28, 2005 #4 Share Posted December 28, 2005 Yes, call the Hotel directly and I would ask to speak to the Manager. Let them know that you are arriving early, that you understand that the hotel might be sold out and that you are concerned that it might be over booked and confirm with them that since you have a reservation which you've guaranteed on your credit card that you want to confirm that there will be a room waiting for you no matter what time you arrive that evening.
