Springchicken Posted April 5, 2018 #26 Share Posted April 5, 2018 YES! I'm 5'2" and these bins were a life saver. I got mine at Dollar Tree and since they are lightweight, I cut some cardboard pieces to fit in the bottom of each bin to make them sturdier. I also got the small narrow bins to put on the side tables beside the bed. Keeps a lot of stuff like glasses, etc. handy and easy to pull out. About 10 x 6 x 5 worked for me on the Reflection. I got the ones with round holes instead of tabs as they were closer to the bottom of the bin and easier for me to reach. Iamthesea Posted April 5, 2018 #27 Share Posted April 5, 2018  Mine came with covered cardboard for the bottoms. Very sturdy.
Springchicken Posted April 5, 2018 #28 Share Posted April 5, 2018  Mine came with covered cardboard for the bottoms. Very sturdy. Sorry for the confusion. I got mine for $1 and they had a folded covered insert, but I just wanted a little extra "insurance" that they would be sturdy enough for my shoes or anything else that added weight. The ones I got seemed a little flimsy.
Iamthesea Posted April 5, 2018 #29 Share Posted April 5, 2018 Ah, yes. I have a couple of those from DT, as well. The containers that I use under the bedside table. They are a bit flimsy. I got lucky with the ones shown in my photo. I had not seen any that sturdy in DT until I found them. Unfortunately, I purchased them without taking a whiff. When I got home, I realized that they smelled like cow manure (something in the fabric). lol Had to air them out on the screened porch for several days. :D
WineandRoseLady Posted April 5, 2018 #30 Share Posted April 5, 2018 I use the packing cubes from my clothes to hold stuff that goes on high shelves. Not as roomy as folding bins, but nothing extra to carry.
