Sapphire beach question.

We are planning on taking a taxi to the beach and are looking for info on the entrance fee and equipment rental for snorkeling. Does anyone have that or can direct me to where that would be? Thank you in advance.

There is no fee for the beach. You can rent snorkel equipment there. Easy peasy.

Last i knew, taxi was $10.00 per person each way to Sapphire.

You can always rent a car there at the port (Havensight location) through Budget and enjoy a fun drive on the left side of the road over to Sapphire Beach for less than a taxi both ways. It's not a difficult drive, and your GPS will navigate you there. There is a water sport equipment rental right there on the beach where you can rent kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling equipment (although, I'd suggest bringing your own mouthpiece) etc. Have fun!

I'm not so sure that a rental car is cheaper than the taxi. It really depends on how many are in your party. A taxi is about $12/person each way so for a couple the cost is around $50. A rental car will run you about $60 or more per day and you have to navigate through town to Sapphire.
