Beaches within walking distance ?

Hey there ,

We love to explore beaches at different ports. We like to walk , so a bit of a walk wouldn’t be a problem.

We would like somewhere that has some sort of facilities, bathroom a place to get drinks . Also a walk to do some exploring or shopping after.

Never been to st. Kitts so no clue about the island at all.

Any advice / suggestions welcome!

The closest beach is at South Frigate Bay. Personally I would not consider it walkable. It is over 3.6 miles away from the port. There are hills that you must deal with plus the fact that there is not a sidewalk along side most of the road. Take a cab.

The beach at South Frigate Bay (The Strip) has several beach bar/restaurants available.
