questions about pictures -- how soon?

First off, I really have enjoyed these boards over the last year. We're getting married on Princess Golden Feb 19th, 2006. We are going it alone and not having any guests, BUT we are having a party a week after we get back and would love to have the pictures to show off. Do you get them immediately or are they sent to you? Thanks ladies for all your great hints all year.

Our photographs were available the day after the wedding. We were able to keep all of the proofs, however, the digital version and the extra prints took a couple of days. But you should have everything before you get off the ship.

We were married on the Caribbean Princess and you should have everything in hand prior to leaving the ship!

We got married on Monday, got the proofs on Thursday, the prints and CD on Friday...my mom actually then took the cd to the store and printed off enough pictures for everyone attending the reception at home and was able to make herself a copy of the cd since it is not copyrighted.
