Rotan Island, Honduras Snorkling and Activity Suggestion 3/5/06?

I've heard that Rotan has some great snorkling. Can anyone provide me with some advice on activities to do while there or beaches to go snorkle and play at? There isn't much information listed. There are 40 people going in my group on Valor 3/5 but not everyone will do the same things. We prefer to venture off away from the crowds.

 

If you know the website or name, that would also be great!

Jeff, Tabyana beach is the real deal. It still remains my all time fav beach. Beautiful sand, snorkeling and background of palm trees. Do it on your own. Grab a cab and bargain hard for the price. Dont pay extra for the ships tour there. No need to waste the bucks. Peace

This is great with the zip lines and such. We had a blast! Just get a cab for the day and tell them you want to go zip lining and to the beach. The driver will stay with you all day.

Just returned off the NCL Jewel and I agree.... we did the zipline (Canopy Tour) and then off to Tabyana Beach and rented snorkel equipment there.... it was our best port day. (Ocho Rios was a close 2nd)
