How to get to hamburg train from port

We will be in Hamburg later this year and would like to go to Lubeck. I have read you can get there via train but can't find information how to get from port to train station. I may have missed it but if anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Do you know where you will be docking in Hamburg? The port is huge and it could make a difference on how to get to the station.

 

There is a U-bahn stop called Uberseequartier that will go to the Hauptbahnhof (main station) if you are docking near the Hamburg Cruise Center Hafencity.

 

From Hamburg station to Luebeck station is about 40 minutes.
