poss Posted April 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2018 Virtually nothing that I've read about a port stop in Colon is very positive. One of the excursions that our ship offers is the aerial tram. It sounds to me as if it might be interesting. No? Thanks.
knbcruisers Posted April 14, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2018 Colon is only a place where the ship picks up passengers who have gone on excursions once the locks are transited. There are a few shops there. We did the visit to the Embera Indians and it was a very good afternoon. We got to Colon and the ship was waiting for us. A few years ago we did the aerial tram over the rainforest and it was totally enjoyable, however unless you go early in the morning you won’t see too much wildlife IMHO when it gets hot later in the day. The animals take shelter, under the trees, just as we do when it’s hot.
