Mom2B&Z Posted April 15, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2018 It tends to cause havoc with those headed to port So does the NYC marathon that happens on a Sunday in March when Breakaway is often sailing over capacity. There will be detours in place, and the usual advice for leaving lots of time to get to port still applies. I do triathlons on a fairly regular basis. FWIW, unless it’s an Ironman or half iron event, the road closures don’t last long. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

kprudge Posted April 15, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted April 15, 2018 From where we were staying, it was a significant issue. I was just trying to help other people out who might need to plan accordingly and leave earlier. We got a local driver and we arrived two hours later than planned but we are here. SeaShark Posted April 15, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 15, 2018 ’nuff said. Did you post this on the Miami Port Board so everyone heading to/from the port can get the information, or is this here because this is something that only affects people who are sailing with NCL?

CruzinMel Posted April 15, 2018 #12 Share Posted April 15, 2018 Wow - we wondered why there were police vehicles set to block off certain streets - we noticed it while we were having breakfast at the buffet this morning, and saw bikes on our way to the airport.
