We are staying pre cruise in Barcelona and would like to do Montserrat on our own. What's the best way to get there? We are a group of 5

Very easy my wife and I did it a few years ago, most difficult part was finding the train station after getting off the subway. Just need to decide before buying tickets whether you want to take the railroad or gondola. We took gondola. We just walked around we did not see choir or go up to Madonna
