Info on how to get off the ship earliest when at a port...

Recommended Posts

Hello,

We'll be on the Epic in Dec and during our cruise we will be getting married in St Thomas. I need to be off the ship early so I can get to the salon before the wedding. Are there any steps or procedures I need to do in order to be one of the first to be off the ship?

Thank you

In St. Thomas is easy to get off quickly. The crowds move fast and even if you are in the back of the line you can be off in 15 - 20 minutes of the ship clearing. That is one port where you don't have to worry about speed.

grease the Haven concierge a decent tip and s/he may let you priority disembark with the suite guests.

There is no priority disembarkation at ports of call. All the OP needs to do is walk off the ship. If she is in a real hurry just go down to deck 4 as the ship is pulling in.

if you are a suite guest, you absolutely get priority disembarkation. that's one of the best perks, particularly at tender ports.
