peanutgirl Posted May 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2018 my daughter just got the ocean club deal in her email after we got home from our cruise. My husband and I and she would like to book under this deal but she may not be able to go and the deal is in her name. Can we three book and if she cannot come do they make us pay more at the port? Just wondering if this has happened to anyone.

It should state that in the fine print that offer must be redeemed by the guest named in offer communication. Once it is booked it will still state (see below) A valid and qualifying VIFP Club Member number is required from at least one person in the stateroom to be eligible for this offer. Promotional deposit for 1st and 2nd guest is non-refundable. Cancellation penalties apply.
HawkIVette Posted May 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 10, 2018 If your daughter is a no show, they will charge you the full price of the cruise. Don't know if this would work but if she buys insurance for the cruise and then has to cancel, don't know if the insurance would pay for the full price of the cruise. Worth a try. Worse case is that you would pay for a cruise that you went on anyway.
