Back to back cruise Miami (day excursions and secrets?)

hello, my girlfriend and I are doing back to back cruises this November out of Miami. I know that on disembark day after the first cruise we get a new sail and sign card and can stay on the ship with almost no one around.

If we decide to get off the ship and visit South Beach for a few hours can we get back on the ship quickly since we already have our new sail and sign card or do we need to stay in a long lineup to get back on?

And secondly, and secrets or tips or advice if we should stay on the ship between the cruises? Besides the obvious shorter food lineups or waterpark lines etc...

Thanks.

you can board with no lines in a separate area. The time between the guests disembark and the next cruise starts is dead on the ship. All bars and food service will be closed, including the water park. We hung out on the empty Serenity area between 10-11. The have to reset all the bar computers. Since we were already aboard for a week the Serenity Bartender knew us, as soon as he opened we called out my name and we had the first drink.
