Ladysilver Posted May 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2018 We're booked in a panoramic room on deck 12 on the Liberty. Never been so far forward before. I'm a little concerned about the long walk to the MDR or the Windjammer several times a day. We're not as young as we used to be! My DH will be 71 on this cruise and I'm not far behind him. Anyone our age have problems with the long walks back and forth?
lrn2cruise Posted May 21, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2018 I am a Texan and would love to try the panoramic window cabin on The LOS! This cabin sounds wonderful. I do understand your concerns. I honestly like to stay AFT because of the same reasons of being close to the WJ, etc.
cb at sea Posted May 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2018 If you plan your day, you can get to places without additional walking....try to be near the dining room around dinner time....71 isn't that old....so if you're able, take your time and do the walk...it's good for you! Sky616 Posted May 22, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2018 It really isn't that far. We always went out past the jogging track to the aft elevators and straight down to the MDR or down one flight to the Windjammer. The only night we went down the forward elevators was on formal night as the wife didn't want her hair messed up. We went down to deck 5, walked through the Promenade to the aft steps and then down to deck 4 where our table was. Didn't go through 4 from the smoke in the casino.
