Marseille port shuttle

We are a group of 6 (4 adults & 2 kids) and will be in Marseilles on Symphony in August. It’s our first cruise and we are planning on enjoying the ship for the most part but thought we might wander into Vieux Port for a couple of hours. The ship shuttle seems a bit expensive. I have read about the free port shuttle but it’s hard to get current information. Can anyone here fill me in? Or would there be taxis big enough for the 6 of us?

Probably a real newbie question but we’re very green but keen :')

Get a map a the cruise terminal. They will point you out the door to a coloured line on the road which you will follow, The waiting place for the bus is on your left. There will be many cruisers also walk about 500 meters from the last ship. The ride, depends on the day of the week and busy port. It can take 20 minutes as the bus wonders thru the port. After you exit the bus you can walk along the water to the old port.
