Sundays in Siena and Barcelona

Recommended Posts

Does anyone knows what will be closed on Sunday in Siena and Barcelona as our cruiseship will be docking at Livorno on May 14, Sunday morning till the following night and disembarking at Barcelona on May 21, Sunday morning. Thanks for sharing this.

We actually found Sunday in Barcelona to be lovely. La Ramblas is quiet but walking through the Barri Gotic, seeing the Cathedral, and, especially, the folk dancers and musicians in the Plaza just in front of the Cathedral were delightful. It's a fun city to walk around and places like Guell Park are wonderful to visit and mingle with locals as well as other tourists. The Picasso Museum is free one Sunday a month but I don't remember which one. You'll be fine. Don't know about Sienna since we didn't visit there but stayed in Florence and Pisa (and it wasn't a Sunday)
