OBC Question

I noticed when I recently booked my Symphony of the Seas cruise that my OBC was automatically applied to my account and available to use on my cruise planner. Is that a new feature or has that always been viewable like that online? I ask because when I booked my November HOTS cruise over a year ago, I swore we received OBC with our reservation and it never posted on my account or cruise planner.

They had this from last year in my cruise planner on the Jewel of the Seas for April 2018 they also have it for my cruise in December 18 and May of next year.

If the OBC comes from Royal it should show up right away. If it comes from a TA, I believe that won't show up until you sail.

It has been more than one year but less than two, I believe.

Relatively new, however, they don't post all OBC on your cruise planner. I had both some OBC from NextCruise and some OBC gift cards I received as a Christmas gift. Only the NextCruise OBC showed up. I called and asked about the gift card OBC. Was told that was only good for actual on board credit during the sailing.
