Extended Family Cruise - Alaska 2019

We've mostly cruised Holland America but have decided to take the kids and grand kids to Alaska next summer. HAL is typically stereo-typed as "older". During our Norway cruise last week a couple we dined with suggested that Norwegian might be a better choice. Our kids are mid- to late 30's and their kids range from 7 to 13. We'd be booking three (adjacent) staterooms. I'm curious about the layout of a cabin with 2 adults and 2 kids as well as how Norwegian's kid's program is. Thanks for any input!
