D618 or D619 on Island Princess. Anybody?

Going on the RT out of LA to Hawaii on Sept. 21st. and was wondering if the lifeboats below our balcony extent too far out to where it will obstruct our view. Thank for any info.

We just got off the Island a couple weeks ago. We were in room D611. We loved it. Especially the uncovered balcony. It was beautiful to look at the stars at night. The lifeboats are not a problem at all. If I remember correctly, they are almost completely under your balcony.

The open balcony is great on the Island. I can't imagine having a roof overhead. We enjoyed looking at the night sky in Alaska. We were in D232.
