Adc430 Posted July 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2018 We'll be there next month on the victory. My parents want to go-to the beach. My understanding is that Junkanoo Beach is the only free beach (and I've read review about how the beach isn't great/ lots of rocks). Cable beach would require a day pass cause of the hotels, so which hotels are recommended? At a affordable price :'):')😂

You can go to cable or cabbage beach for free, but no facilities. I think there are restrooms at Saunders beach.
luvabargain Posted July 28, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2018 I recommend Cabbage Beach if you want a free beach. It's just down from Atlantis - it's beautiful. The only expense would be getting there (paradise Island) and it's about $6/pp one way.
cruiseapril Posted July 31, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2018 The Melia is very good. We eat a big breakfast on the ship and go back for a late lunch. Then we buy a snack at Melia.
