Wedding Cake Help

Can anyone give me ideas on wedding flavors? We are getting a large two layer cake. First, will it feed more than 50 people? Next, what flavors are good? Is the chocolate and vanilla combination on different layer?

I'm partial to a white cake. It seems to be one that almost everyone would like. But, it wouldn't be a bad idea to do a groomscake in chocolate. Congrats!!

I feel like most people like red velvet. I’ve seen it at a few weddings. I would avoid lemon flavoring or fruit filled.

Our cake(Victory) and our Daughters & sil 's cakes were the best..White cakes 2 layers. We had alot of cake left over.

I love white cake with lemon filling. Hate Red Velvet.

 

Too bad carrot cake isn’t an option. The one from the coffee bar is excellent.

Our 2 tier cake was chocolate on the bottom and lemon on the top with the butter cream layers. It was really good. I was worried it wouldn't be but was very shocked and glad we did it.
