Manhattan cruise Terminal

Recommended Posts

Is is doable and safe to walk with one suitcase from the Manhattan Ferry Terminal to the the Cruiseterminal in Manhattan?

Are you talking about walking from the ferry terminal at 39th St & 12th Ave? There have been many reports of folks doing this. There is also a free bus that will get you a lot closer to the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. What day of the week would you do this?

There have also been no comments about safety concerns in that area. The Intrepid museum draws many tourists to that area.

Which Ferry Terminal? There are several now and even more opening on the East River in August on the Manhattan side as NYC Ferry adds two more routes.

I have walked from the Circle Line Pier which is the one south of the Intrepid Museum which is the one just south of the Cruise Pier to the NY Waterway Ferry Terminal at 11p on a Saturday night and I got the impression it was safe for non-New Yorkers.

As stated, walking path and bike path, don't get confused or you will have angry bikers, yes even at 11pm.
