Dress Code

Was on the Getaway 4 years ago and noticed most men wore shorts in all the dining venues. Is this still the case? Is a nice Tommy Hilfiger polo shirt /button down shirt and khaki shorts appropriate in Cagneys, Moderno , Taste and Savor ? I am trying to pack as lightly as possible this time.

Your favoured attire is fine. The dress code is as casual as they come. As bird travel says there are 1 or 2 restaurants per ship that require long trousers. You'll easily get by without eating in those ones.

Last month on the Jewel, I witnessed staff enforce the dress code at Cagney's and Tsar's Palace. I'm not 100% convinced that there are hard and fast rules that are enforced equally fleet wide. Seems like based on other's observations as well as my own that it's hit or miss on enforcement of the dress code.
