Dining

 

Q: How is the seating arranged in the dining room?

A: You will be assigned a table based on your preferred seating time (subject to availability).

 

Q: Can I request to sit with friends?

A: Yes (subject to availability).

 

Q: Can I change my table assignment?

A: Yes (subject to availability).

 

Q: Is there a dress code in the dining room?

A: Yes. At no time are bare feet or bathing suits allowed; no shorts during dinner.

 

Q: Are there highchairs available in the dining room?

A: Yes.

 

Q: Are there casual dining options available at dinner?

A: Yes. Casual dining is available every evening in the Windjammer Cafe.

 

Documents

 

Q: Can I make a name change to a guest listed on a booking?

A: Name changes or substitutions can be made to all but one of the original names listed on a booking up until before the voyage closes. If documents have been issued, air assigned, or if you are within 35 days of sailing, a document reissue fee will be charged, and additional air charges may apply. No name changes or additions are permitted on the sailing date.

 

Q: If visiting a foreign country, do I need to clear customs at each port?

A: No. We handle customs details at each port.

 

Q: Do I need a visa to visit Russia?

A: Yes. However, if you have purchased a shore excursion in Russia through Royal Caribbean, we handle all of the necessary visa paperwork.

 

Entertainment

 

Q: Is there a minmum age for the discos?

A: 18

 

Q: What are the age limitations for the teen disco?

A: 13-17

 

Q: Are teens allowed in the adult disco when accompanied?

A: No

 

Q: Is ballroom dance music offered?

A: Yes.

 

Q: Are there shows while we are in port overnight?

A: YEs (with the exception of Bermuda).

 

Q: Is there anything done for special events, like the Super Bowl?

A: Yes (varies by event).

 

Q: Are there special events for honeymooners/singles/etc.?

A: Yes.

 

Q: Do I need to bring towels for the pool?

A: No. Towels are provided.

 

Q: Does Royal Caribbean provide beach towels?

A: Yes, special large beach/pool towels.

 

Q: What kind of theme events are there?

A: Big Band, Country and Western, Dancing through the Decades, Dancing under the Stars, Ladies' Night, Latin Fiesta, Rock 'n Roll, '70's Disco Fever (varies by itinerary).

 

Q: Are there movies onboard?

A: Yes, first-run movies on TV in your stateroom (Majesty of the Seas, Seranade of the Seas, Jewel of the Seas, Radiance of the Seas, and Brilliance of the Seas also have cinemas).

 

Q: Are there shops onboard?

A: Yes, duty-free shops (closed while in port)

 

Q: Where can I find information on available tours?

A: At the Explorations! Desk onboard, in the information sent with your cruise vacation documents, and on our website.

 

Q: Can we get a tour of the bridge?

A: No.

 

Q: Are there TVs in every stateroom?

A: Yes.

 

Q: Is there a basketball court?

A: Yes. There are basketball courts on Majesty of the Seas, Mariner of the Seas, Monarch of the Seas, Sovereign of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas, Explorer of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas, Brilliance of the Seas, Adventure of the Seas, Seranade of the Seas, Jewel of the Seas, and Radiance of the Seas.

 

Q: Are there professional photographs onboard?

A: Yes, we have a variety of photographic opportunities throughout the cruise.
