Pre cruise package question

Hubby and i would like like fly to London on our own, travel to London on our own and book the Millenium Mayfair on our own. Question: will Princess let us book and use their hotel to ship transfer even if we pay for the hotel on our own? The Millenium is one of the hotels used by Princess for pre and post cruise packages...any input or experience would be appreciated.

Two years ago they would not let us book the transfers from the Rome hotel Princess used. To get the transfers without the hotel we would have had to go back to the airport. We ended up taking the pre-cruise hotel stay through Princess and that included the transfers. However, transfers in England are in my opinion rather easy if you don't overpack. The trains from either Gatwick or Heathrow to London are OK as well as the one to Southhampton.
