How do disembark one day early when you are overnighting the last night.

The fee is $65 pp to leave early. We are doing it in Naples

Incorrect. As myself and others have stated there is $0 fee in Buenos Aires to debark a day early when the ship is docked there overnight at the end of a cruise. You are talking about a much different situation than the OP.

I think posters are mixing up two different scenarios. In one, the ship is overnighting in a port and the passengers want to leave on the first day instead of the second. This is normally easily done, with a visit to Guest Relations to let them know that you won't be spending the last night on the ship. You'll pay your bill and off you go.

The second is a "downline disembarkation" where passengers desire to leave the ship before the cruise is over, at a different port from where disembarkation will take place. Say the cruise ends in Venice but the passenger wants to disembark in Dubrovnik. This will need special permission, and there is a fee of $65 per person.

This "downline disembarkation" may not be available on all itineraries. For US-based sailings, care must be taken in regards to the PVSA. This regulation does not come into play outside of the US.
