Rare gdlamberth Posted August 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2018 We arrive in Broome at 0200! Depart at 1700 same day. Has anybody done a DIY tour here you can recommend? DW would like to see dinosaur footprints if that is doable. Thanks, Greg
coo359a2 Posted August 21, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 21, 2018 We did a camel ride along the beach and had a blast.
sailco Posted August 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 21, 2018 A lot will depend on the time of year and whether the new floating pontoon will be ready. The tides in Broome are amazing and you may not be able to disembark when you expect. Cable Beach will be a short bus ride in one direction and Gantheaume Point for the dinosaur prints is a short distance in the other direction. Both very doable. Can both these trips be arranged locally at the dock? If so do you know the approximate cost?
sailco Posted August 24, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2018 The local bus service will take you anywhere you want to go. Hopefully this link will work. http://www.broomebus.com.au/maps.html
