retired dude Posted August 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2018 Just booked a cabin on the koninngsdam on the Beethoven deck(cat vh) and was wondering how obstructed the view actually was. Got a great deal on the cabin for a tiny bit more than an inside cabin. thanks so much for any help on this ?
catl331 Posted August 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2018 (edited) Go to http://halfacts.com/pinnacle-class/ and look at cabins 4052, 4061, and 4093. (Click thumbnails to enlarge) These cabins are all in the forward half of the deck above "turtle" lifeboats. If yours is in the aft half (4120 to 4167) the view will be slightly less because the tender-type lifeboats are higher. aljo66 Posted August 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 21, 2018 We had cabin 4120 and had a view forward, out and down with no obstruction and a much larger balcony where 3 of us could sit with no problems. Our view aft was obstructed by the larger tenders but overall it was very good. Only downside was that it was a connecting cabin and we did hear some noise from our neighbours.
