Resort for a day in Fort Lauderdale with kids?

Looking to use a hotel on the beach with a pool and on-site restaurant for the day as we wait for a 10pm flight after our cruise....any ideas?? I searched online but wondering if there are any that don't advertise....kinda like a best kept secret??
